About me

Caitlyn Agro is an emerging artist and future educator based in Alexandria, Virginia. Caitlyn is passionate about the ways creativity, art, and learning can connect people. Her creative practice explores mainly painting, collage, and drawing with ink.

As an artist, I use my creative practice as a way to explore ideas, experiences, emotions, and the world around me. I believe that art is a form of communication and storytelling. Through my artwork, I continue to experiment, learn, and develop my own artistic style.

As a future art educator, I hope to create a classroom where students feel comfortable being curious, taking creative risks, and expressing themselves. I believe every student has the ability to be creative, and I want to help students recognize their own unique ways of thinking and making.

This website serves as a way to share my artistic practice along with teaching journey as I go through my graduate program at George Mason University.
